The otter swims in the water of a crystal-clear pool.
Recipient of "Award for Excellence - Wildlife Painting", Vermont Watercolor Society Annual Awards Show - 2024.
From Tim Saternow, Judge for 2024 VWS Awards Show:
"Swimming Otter" is a wonderful example of dry-brush watercolor and here it perfectly creates the rhythm of the wet fur with the water gliding by. Also, the direction of the subtle and confident brush strokes creates a very pleasing and energetic movement movement of this little critter.
